Representatives of the Secretary of State for Science and Technology (Sect), the Technology Foundation Acre (Funtac) and the Foundation for the Acre Research (Fapac), which comprise the State System of Science and Technology, gathered on Thursday, 7 to take forward the actions of the Vocational Technology Center (CVT) of bamboo.
the CVT is a space directed to the development, promotion and provision of services and products, in order to strengthen local production systems through technological extension, the development of social technologies and the realization of professional education activities of technology-based.
the CVT is focused on the development of research and projects with the use of bamboo, which is present in about 40% of the state territory.
So Acre stands out as one of the largest nature reserves in native species of bamboo in the world. The culture of the use of bamboo in the state is still recent, and the development of the productive chain of this raw material is in its initial phase.
“The CVT is not only a physical structure, it is also very focused the development of research, as well as the training of producers, “said secretary of State of Science and Technology, Renata Souza.
the meeting with the three institutions that are directly involved in CVT bamboo was to evaluate and verify the targets met in 2015 and give referrals to 2016.
“for 2016, the part of the bidding been to the CPL, which deals with the construction of the CVT. We are setting the dates of the seminars that will take place this year and also the purchase of supplies and services that will be used in the CVT, “said Renata Souza
