The Commission of Science, Technology, Innovation, Communication and Informatics (CCT) will, on Tuesday (26), at 8:45 am, the first interactive public hearing to discuss the funds to encourage scientific and technological development . The board will examine in particular the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT) and the Fund for the Technological Development of Telecommunications (Funttel).
FNDCT is linked to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and has a number of individual funds tied to specific industrial sectors. Already Funttel is linked to the Ministry of Communications and dedicated exclusively to the telecommunications sector.
For Senator Aloysio Nunes (PSDB-SP), author of the application, these funds are essential tools to boost the development of the industry . national and consequently stimulate the Brazilian economy
– with advances in technological development, it is possible, for example, change the profile of national exports, still very concentrated in products with low added value, and enable the generation of new jobs, especially for higher pay, contributing to significant social advances.
They were invited to the audience the director of Studies and Sectorial Policies for Innovation, Regulation and Infrastructure of the Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA), Fernanda de Negri, and the holder of the first board of the Secretariat of External Control of Economic Development of the Court of Audit (SecexDesenvolvimento / TCU), Alexandre Giovanini Fuscaldi.
