The Samsung recently introduced the second generation of Eyecan, a technology that allows a motor disabled person can interact with a computer with the movement of his eyes.
The Eyecan + device to be placed under a monitor, supports up to 18 commands, including ‘copy’ and ‘paste’. The Samsung device requires that the user’s eyes are at a distance between 60 and 70 cm.
Samsung is not planning to market the Eyecan + technology, but will produce some device units that will be later distributed by charities.
