Agreement for the Dissemination Plan and Coffee Technology Transfer between 2014 and 2015 was formalized by Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) and the Foundation Support for Coffee Technology (FunProcafé).
The initiative aims to transfer the prompt implementation of technologies for coffee plantations.
The agreement will place special emphasis on coffee production of Minas Gerais, helping cooperatives and state producers associations.
The project provides for congress coffee research; refresher courses in coffee; field days; data sheets and customer queries, and implementation of new varieties of coffee demonstration fields.
Another objective is the transfer of technology for the deployment of new coffee cultivars fields, aiming make known the most productive varieties adapted to different environmental conditions.
